Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon is now one of Napa Valley’s most well-known wines. The wine has a characteristic style that is black in color, with rich fruit and ripe tannins – as approachable in youth as it is in maturity – and is made from grapes grown in 8 of Napa Valley’s 16 appellations. Chuck Wagner’s world-famous Cabernet Sauvignons, Caymus Napa Valley and Caymus Special Selection, are still produced. Caymus Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon is the first wine in the world to be named “Wine of the Year” by Wine Spectator magazine twice, in 1984 and 1990.
