85% 75-yr-old Tempranillo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Graciano. From a single vineyard 600m above sea level. 23 months in new French oak, a year in bottle and only just released (on allocation). Very ripe fruit from a very hot vintage. A touch of volatility lifting the aromas of vanilla and violets and plenty of sweet red fruit that is not at all overripe – ie avoids dried fruit character.
