The 2000 Louis Roederer Cristal opens with a beautiful and delicate fragrance of brioche, ripe apple, green olive, and iodine scents, resulting from a tough vintage marked by hailstorms and botrytis. This big and extremely lengthy Cristal is complex and highly salty, with oyster and umami tastes, and is perfect with Japanese food, like as sushi.
